Sitting in his wheelchair, the Marine, with no legs, he looks distinguished. He is a man sent with a message for our times. He speaks with thunder in his voice. His story is powerfully graphic, revealing and rings with reality about a country and a national heritage that many Americans have forgotten. His name is Tim Lee, he is a former Marine Corps Sergeant and Purple Heart recipient from the Vietnam War. A violent land mine explosion in 1971 placed him in a wheelchair, but also made him one of the most listened to people in America. He is recognized across the Nation as one of the most exciting evangelist and Christian statesmen of our generation. He shares his personal testimony that has impacted the lives of United States Senators, Congressmen, Governors and local officials. He has won the acclaim of thousands of American citizens, and the respect of the strongest and noblest of men and women who have heard his unique delivery. His remarks and conclusions on the topics he addresses are controversial and explosive, but they present strong Biblical truth and patriotic ideals in a way that captivates his audience. An encounter with Tim Lee will long be remembers. He is a man with answers for this generation, and one who speaks from the heart!

The Posey’s latest update from Alaska

June 6, 2011

We made it through our first week of teams and it was an awesome week. Very busy. We had 60+ kids in Chester Estates Park and around 40 – 45 in each of the other 3 parks. That’s around 200 kids that we ministered to last week. The really exciting park was in the Penland Penland Community. This is the first year we will actually have a spot designated to GraceWorks within the Penland Area. Day one we had 4 kids and by the end of the week there were 45 kids. Praise God!!

This week we begin the Summer Lunch Program. The State of Alaska provides the lunches and our volunteers hand them out in the parks each day. Please pray for that program. Our hope is that through providing free lunch to all the kids in the park communities, we will be able to reach more children with the gospel of Christ. This is one of the doors we believe God has opened for us. Pray that we use the opportunity given to the Glory of God.

Weather has been pretty good. We actually had several days in the upper 60′s lower 70′s. I know that sounds cool to most of you but several of us actually got sunburned in the parks. 70′s is quite warm here.

Sunday School is vital for growth.

The Sunday School Ministry is for all ages with the purpose of reaching people and teaching the Word of God.

Classes are provided for all age groups

9:15am and 10:45am every Sunday

If you are attending Sunday School for the first time, someone will meet you in the church lobby and gladly help you find a class where you will be warmly welcomed.

1. Sunday school provides a basic systematic study of the scriptures at a level of understanding for that age group.

2. Sunday school allows an opportunity for its members to talk and share about their needs with others in similar life situations.

4. Sunday school provides for fellowship and a sense of belonging for each member of the class.

5. Sunday school provides a platform for people to serve the Lord through teaching and administration.
